About the job

As a System Engineer in the Application Operations and IT Support department, you are part of the team that manages user-centric services at FI. The team has a clear focus on security, availability, and user-friendliness, as several of the services are critical to FI's operations. The team is responsible for servers, clients (Windows), telephony, email, meeting room technology, and Azure services.

Your primary focus and responsibility lie within Active Directory and related services, but you also contribute your expertise and serve as a resource for the team's other managed objects. In this role, you hold operational responsibility.

The work includes upgrading, troubleshooting, and configuring systems, as well as supporting the business and other IT teams. You are also responsible for system monitoring and conducting relevant environmental scanning. To ensure an efficient and quality-assured way of working, you are expected to actively contribute to the improvement and further development of the processes and routines that govern the work.

Your education and experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • has relevant post-secondary education or certification, or can otherwise demonstrate your knowledge
  • has experience in managing Active Directory and related services
  • has knowledge of automation and script management
  • has several years of experience in IT operations where you have worked as a System Engineer
  • expresses yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you:

  • have previous experience working in a government agency
  • have knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
  • are accustomed to handling applications and clients
  • have knowledge of Microsoft Exchange On-prem
  • have experience with Microsoft's cloud solutions
  • have previously had operational responsibility for AD.
